I always wanted to pray.   As much as I can, I try to pray everyday.   On my way to work or on my way home or even at bed before going to sleep.

 

Lately, however, my schedule has become so busy, and things have become demanding and overbearing. So all I could do was pray during the long commute to work from Worthing to London.

 

I started praying using a standard morning prayer which I found at a website called www.rosenbloomthings.com/MP.htm. I was at peace with that prayer, and it always gave me inspiration everyday.   A year later, however, that site, and that prayer had gone away.   I tried recalling it, looking for it everywhere but couldn't find any similar prayer to it.

 

As a solution, I bought a book called Straight from the Heart which was a book of Prayers.   Everytime I opened it on the train however, people would look at me funny.   It wasn't as if I was reading out loud.   It was like I was treated differently from those reading from or listening to music or watching videos on the phones.

 

And then, I thought of this -  What if I collected all my favourite prayers and put it here on my own funded website.   This would allow me to read and pray my favourite prayers from my phone everyday without people looking at me funny.  I first thought of an app but it was too expensive. I needed at least 48K USD to get it off the ground and published.   I will still get there but I have to start somewhere.  

 

And so with the help of Wix.com and godaddy.com, and a small financial sacrifice from my end, I started HangadKo.com - your prayer companion on your commute anywhere in the world.

 

I hope that this page will give you the chance to maximise your time, the chance to pray and connect with God. 

 

I hope that this will allow me and HangadKo to become one of the channels that people can connect and reflect with God. 

 

I hope HangadKo app will one day become a dream come true.
